Ordering Information

Regional Access was founded by Gary Redmond in 1988 to provide customers with access to artisanal foods crafted by small local producers around New York State as well as culinary treasures from around the world. Every Monday we go to New York City, New England and Philadelphia, taking local products to market and bringing back imported specialties for distribution to our customers throughout the state.

Ordering

  1. 1.To avoid confusion, please always use the item number to specify products.

  2. 2.Call our office and order by 12:00pm on Monday for delivery the same week.

  3. 3.Items on the weekly produce list have multiple weekly deliveries. Refer to the list for your deadline.

  4. 4.Call to confirm any orders placed by voice mail or fax. Emailed orders receive confirmation the same day.

  5. 5.Add in-stock items to your order until NOON of the day before your truck leaves.

  6. 6.You may email your orders to food@regionalaccess.net


Payment Terms

  1. 1.All accounts are COD.

  2. 2.After three orders, you may request a credit application from our bookkeeper.

  3. 3.If approved, terms will be net 14 days.

  4. 4.Call our bookkeeper Anna or email her at anna@regionalaccess.net with any questions about past invoices or about your credit terms.


Order Minimums and Delivery Charges

  1. 1.Small orders are neither financially nor environmentally cost effective. For orders below the listed minimums, you may arrange a warehouse pickup. All orders outside the Ithaca area are subject to a single, flat-rate fuel surcharge. Our fuel surcharge is currently $5.

  2. 2.The order minimum for delivery in the Ithaca, NY area is $150.

  3. 3.Please call the office to confirm the minimum order for delivery to your location. The order minimum for delivery outside Ithaca can range from $200 (the Finger Lakes region) to $500 (NYC Metro area and Philadelphia).


Warehouse Pickups

  1. 1.The order minimum for warehouse pickups is $50.

  2. 2. Place your order by 12pm on Monday for same week pickup.

  3. 3. Requires 24hr lead time to assemble your order.

  4. 4. Pick up your order on Thursday from 12 - 4pm or Friday from 12 - 4pm.


Out of Stocks

  1. 1.We will do our best to apprise you of out-of-stock items.

  2. 2. We do not automatically backorder out of stock items.


Return Policy

  1. 1.Your signature on your invoice is final acceptance of your order.

  2. 2.We do not offer refunds, only merchandise credit.

  3. 3.Credit requests must be called in within 48 hours after the delivery. If a product is out of date or bad we must be notified within 7 days after the date of invoice.

  4. 4.A pickup slip and return label will arrive with your next delivery, and once the product arrives back in our warehouse a credit memo will be generated and posted to your account.

  5. 5.A 15% restock fee may apply to refused items, please email anna@regionalaccess.net with any questions.
